This right triangle trigonometry activity provides Geometry students with engaging practice finding missing side lengths and angle measures in right triangles using the sine, cosine, and tangent ratios. In some cases, the Pythagorean Theorem or Triangle Sum Theorem can also be used to find side or angle measurements.
How It Works:
Students solve each problem, then cut out the squares, rearrange them so the matching edges meet, and paste them onto the template. Since every edge has to match, students can check their own work as they go. The box letters help students stay organized and make grading easier! A template and answer key are included.
Ways to Use It:
This cut and paste puzzle works well as independent practice, partner work, a review before a quiz or test, or a low-prep sub plan during your right triangles and trigonometry unit.
