Students will practice applying the properties of kites in order to solve for missing side and angle measures through this cut and paste puzzle. Properties included: two pairs of consecutive congruent sides, one pair of opposite angles are congruent, diagonals are perpendicular, no congruent angles are bisected by the diagonal. Many problems require students solve a multi-step equation or apply the Pythagorean Theorem. Problems range in difficulty. This activity was written for a high school level geometry class.
Students solve each problem, then cut out the squares and rearrange so the edges meet and paste onto a template. A template to paste the solution and answer key included. The box letters make it easy for students to organize their work AND make it easier to grade!
