This Parallel Lines Cut by a Transversal Cut & Paste Puzzle is a cut and paste puzzle in which students practice finding angle measures formed by parallel lines cut by a transversal. Angle relationships include alternate interior, alternate exterior, corresponding, and consecutive interior angles. Students solve for variables and find missing angle measures, with several more challenging problems included. Students should be able to solve multi-step linear equations.
Students solve each problem, cut out the puzzle pieces, and rearrange them so that adjacent edges have matching answers. Once complete, students paste the finished puzzle onto the included template. The box letters help students organize their work and make completed puzzles quick and easy to check.
