Students will practice applying the properties of trapezoids in order to solve for missing side and angle measures with this cut and paste puzzle. Problems include finding a missing angle of both non-isosceles and isosceles trapezoids, finding the diagonal of an isosceles triangle, and solving problems related to the midsegment of a trapezoid. Many problems require solving a multi-step equation. Problems range in difficulty. This activity was created for a high school level geometry class.
Students solve each problem, then cut out the squares and rearrange so the edges meet and paste onto a template. A template to paste the solution and answer key included. The box letters make it easy for students to organize their work AND make it easier to grade!
