This radical equations coloring activity helps Algebra 2 students practice solving radical equations, including square, cube, and fourth roots. Several equations use rational exponents instead of radical form, students solve both linear and quadratic equations, and extraneous solutions are included. The activity includes 24 problems, separated into two columns.
How It Works:
Students solve each problem, then look for matching answers between the two columns. Each match tells them how to color the dinosaur, so the activity is self-checking. It works well as an independent activity or as a partner activity, with Partner A completing the left column and Partner B completing the right column.
