Students will practice adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing radicals with this coloring activity. Higher indexes are included. For multiplication, students must be able to multiply a monomial times a binomial and a binomial times a binomial. For division, rationalizing the denominator is required along with multiplying by a conjugate. All answers must be written in simplest radical form.
There are 20 problems total, separated into two columns. Students simplify each expression, then look for matching answers between the columns. They color the volley ball according to their matching answers. This could also used as a partner activity in which Partner A does the left side and Partner B does the right side.
