Students will practice solving quadratic equations by factoring with this coloring activity. Types of problems included are factoring a GCF (ax² + bx = 0), factoring difference of squares (ax² – c = 0) and factoring trinomials (ax² + bx + c = 0), where a = 1. All equations have terms on both sides of the equal sign.
Students solve the 15 problems on a separate sheet of notebook paper. Once they identify the correct answer, they circle it on the worksheet. They color the beach scene according to their answers.
