This linear regression coloring activity helps students practice using data in a table to write an equation for the line of best fit with linear regression on a graphing calculator, then use the equation to make a prediction. There are 12 problems. In the last two, students choose the linear equation that best matches a scatterplot by identifying the closest slope and y-intercept.
How It Works:
For each problem, students match the line of best fit with its prediction. Their answers match the numbers with the colors, which tells them how to color the Be Kind picture.
