Looking for a fun way to review, or an activity to use during those last few days? Students love to color, and this activity will keep them focused while doing math AND they get to color a fun picture. Students solve the problem at their station, identify the answer, and color the picture accordingly. After approximately 5-7 minutes, they move on to the next station.
Station topics:
- Station 1 – Order of Operations
- Station 2 – Evaluating Expressions
- Station 3 – Percent Increase/Decrease
- Station 4 – Comparing and Ordering Numbers (percents, fractions, decimals, scientific notation)
- Station 5 – Pythagorean Theorem (and perimeter)
- Station 6 – Area of a Composite Figures
- Station 7 – Volume of a Cylinder
- Station 8 – Multi-Step Equations
- Station 9 – Two-Step Inequalities
- Station 10 – Compound Probability (specifically a situation without replacement)
- Station 11 – Finding the range of a function given its domain
- Station 12 – Graphing a linear equation given in slope-intercept form
A student recording worksheet, the coloring page, and answer key are also included in this product. I recommend this product for grades 7-8.
