If you are looking for an activity leading up to Thanksgiving, this is a great way for students to practice evaluating numeric expressions using the order of operations. This activity includes operations with positive integers only.
There are 20 problems total, separated into two sets. Students simplify each numerical expression, then look for matching answers between the columns. Then, they color the turkey according to the matching answers. This could also used as a partner activity in which Partner A completes Set 1 Partner B completes Set 2.
