Students will practice finding missing angle measurements in triangles with this set of 20 task cards. Students must have an understanding of the Triangle Sum Theorem, Exterior Angle Theorem, supplementary angles, complementary angles, vertical angles, parallel lines cut by a transversal, perpendicular lines, and angle bisectors. Angles given as algebraic expressions along with verbal descriptions of angles are also included. This activity was designed for a high school level geometry class
A recording worksheet is included for students to record their answers. They can check their answers by scanning the QR code on each card. Connection to the internet is not required to scan the code. However, a QR scanner app is required on the device. There are several free apps available to download.
If you haven’t used QR codes in your classroom yet, I highly recommend them! Students love using the technology, and the self-checking makes it easier on the teacher!
A version without QR codes is included as well.
