This order of operations coloring activity helps students practice evaluating numerical expressions using the order of operations, with positive integers only. The activity includes 20 problems, separated into two sets.
How It Works:
Students solve each problem, then look for matching answers between the two sets. Each match tells them how to color the turkey, so the activity is self-checking. It works well as an independent activity or as a partner activity, with Partner A completing Set 1 and Partner B completing Set 2. It’s a great activity for the days leading up to Thanksgiving!
