This polynomial equations coloring activity helps Algebra 2 students practice solving polynomial equations. Factoring methods include GCF, difference of squares, sum and difference of cubes, trinomials, and grouping with four terms. Some quadratic equations must be solved with the quadratic formula or completing the square, and complex solutions are included. There are 10 problems.
How It Works:
Students solve each problem, then find their answer on the back to see which color to use. Coloring the ornament by their answers makes the activity self-checking. It’s a perfect activity for the holiday season!
