Students will practice translating algebraic expressions with this cut and paste activity. Students must determine the algebraic expression (given four choices) that correctly represents the verbal expression. They paste the correct expression onto the expressions worksheet. There are 12 total problems.
I recommend printing the expressions worksheet on colored paper and the individual expressions on white paper to make the final product “pop.” There are four equations to choose from for each graph. They paste the correct equation onto the graphs worksheet.
This activity includes two versions! Version 1 has positive integers only and Version 2 has positive and negative integers.
