Students will practice simplifying and factoring linear expressions with this cut and paste activity. This activity includes two versions. In Version 1, students combine like terms only to simplify the expression. In Version 2, students must distribute and combine like terms to simplify the expression.
Each version includes 8 expressions that must be simplified and factored. Distribute both the organizer and the simplified and factored expressions. Students cut out the 24 pieces and organize them on the organizer to correctly give the simplified and factored form of each expression. They can paste their solutions down.
