This is the digital version of my Transformations (Reflections, Translations, Rotations, Dilations) Pyramid Sum Puzzle, designed for use in Google Slides™. It’s an engaging, no-prep way for students to practice identifying the coordinates of a point under a given transformation.
Reflections include the x-axis, y-axis, y = x, vertical lines, and horizontal lines. Rotations include 90°, 180°, and 270° about the origin. For all dilation problems, the origin is the center of dilation.
How It Works:
Students solve each problem by identifying the coordinates of the point under the given transformation. Then, they drag the problems onto the pyramid so that each solution is the sum of the x-coordinates and y-coordinates directly above it. When they’re finished, students can share the completed activity back with you for review. The box letters help students stay organized and make grading easier! An answer key is included.
What You’ll Receive:
Once purchased, you will receive a PDF document with a link and directions for adding the activity to your Google Drive™. You and your students will need a free Google account to access the activity. Once it’s added to your Drive, you can make copies and share the activity with your students.
Please note: Digital Google Slides™ activities are sold separately from the curriculum bundles. The printable PDF version of this activity is included in the corresponding curriculum/activity bundle, or you can purchase the printable Transformations Pyramid Sum Puzzle on its own.
