Students will practice identifying characteristics of linear equations with this mystery code activity. Characteristics include slope, x-intercept, y-intercept, identifying parallel equations, identifying perpendicular equations, and identifying points on a linear equation.
Characteristics are described on the mystery code paper. Students choose the equation (there are 10 total) that matches the description. Once they identify all the equations, there are directions at the bottom of the page to reveal the code. They can check this code with you.
