Students will practice writing and graphing quadratic functions in vertex form using transformations, while identifying key characteristics such as the axis of symmetry, vertex, domain, range, and transformations through a stations-based graphing activity.
There are two versions of the cards included. One in which transformations are described and students write the function, and one in which the function is given. Choose the version that works best for your students!
Simply print the 8 stations cards (choose the set that works best for your students), post around the room, and copy enough worksheets for students to take along with them. I typically place students in groups of 3-4 and set a timer for each station.
