This Law of Detachment and Law of Syllogism True or False Activity is an engaging PowerPoint activity in which students practice deciding whether a conclusion is valid by the Law of Detachment or the Law of Syllogism, or is an invalid conclusion.
If the statement is true (valid), students hold up a green card and name the law that justifies the conclusion. If the conclusion is false (invalid), students hold up a red card. Students may check their answer by clicking the green check or red X. If it’s correct, it will applause. If incorrect, a buzzer will sound.
