Students will practice solving problems related to inscribed angles and intercepted arcs in circles as they rotate through 10 stations with this “Math Lib” Activity. This includes finding the angle measure, intercepted arc measure, in addition to problems involving inscribed angles that intercept a diameter, congruent inscribed angles with overlapping arcs, and quadrilaterals inscribed in a circle. Students must solve a multi-step equation for many of the problems. These are more challenging problems that were written for a high school level geometry class.
The answer at each station will give them a piece to a story (who, doing what, with who, where, when, etc.). This is a much more fun approach to multiple choice, and the students adore reading the story to the class. They get very excited to see which of their teachers is the “star” of the story.
