Students will practice identifying parts of a circle with this “Triples” Activity. This resource includes a page with a diagram and then 36 cards that name a part of a circle in symbolic notation. Using the diagram, students identify the part of the circle given on the card. They list the card numbers on the worksheet that correspond to that circle part.
Parts of the circle include center, radius, diameter, chord, secant, tangent, point of tangency, central angle, inscribed angle, minor arc, major arc, and semicircle. Each circle part will have three card numbers.
Check out Version 1 of this activity. I made two versions and couldn’t decide which I prefer. They are both great for different reasons! And they are both unique so both can be used if you are looking for more practice.
