Students will practice using the distance formula and midpoint formula with this set of two mazes. The solutions are used to navigate students through the maze. This activity was designed for a high school level geometry class. These work well as warm-ups, alternative homework assignments, classwork, or quick assessments.
Mazes Included:
-
- Maze 1: The Distance Formula – Students will use the distance formula to find the distance between two given points.
- Maze 2: The Midpoint Formula – Students will use the midpoint formula to find the midpoint given two endpoints, or find a missing endpoint given the midpoint and an endpoint. Students must read carefully to determine if they are finding a midpoint or an endpoint.
