Students will practice finding the derivative of a function and evaluating the derivative at a certain point with this set of three mazes. The chain rule is NOT required to complete these cards. This activity is intended for students in a Pre-Calculus class getting a simple introduction to derivatives.
Mazes Included:
- Maze 1: Polynomial Functions Only
- Maze 2: Polynomial, Rational, and Radical Functions
- Maze 3: Using the Product Rule and Quotient Rule
The solutions are used to navigate students through the maze. Mazes work well as warm-ups, alternative homework assignments, classwork, or quick assessments.
