This is the digital version of my Similar Triangle Proofs Peel & Stick Activity, designed for use in Google Slides™. This similar triangle proofs digital activity is an engaging, no-prep way for students to practice completing similar triangle proofs.
There are two versions of this activity. In version 1, the statements are given and students must identify the reasons. In version 2, students put together both the statements and the reasons. Reasons include properties of equality, definition of congruence, the angle and segment addition postulates, definitions of an isosceles triangle, angle bisector, right angle, and midpoint, the triangle sum theorem, the cross product property, and angles formed by parallel lines.
How It Works:
Students drag and drop the statements and reasons into place to complete each proof. When they’re finished, students can share the completed activity back with you for review. An answer key is included.
What You’ll Receive:
Once purchased, you will receive a PDF document with a link and directions for adding the activity to your Google Drive™. You and your students will need a free Google account to access the activity. Once it’s added to your Drive, you can make copies and share the activity with your students.
Please note: Digital Google Slides™ activities are sold separately from the curriculum bundles. The printable PDF version of this activity is included in the corresponding curriculum/activity bundle, or you can purchase the printable Similar Triangle Proofs Peel & Stick Activity on its own.
