This triangle inequalities coloring activity helps students identify and solve problems with inequalities in triangles. In the 10 problems, students determine whether three side lengths could form a triangle, find the range of possible lengths for a third side, and order the angles or sides of a triangle given the other measures. The Hinge Theorem is included, along with problems that require solving multi-step equations and inequalities to order angle and side measures or find a range of possible values. There is a good amount of algebra involved, so please check the preview to make sure it’s a good fit for your students.
How It Works:
Each problem has four answer choices. Students circle the correct answer, and the answers they choose tell them how to color the snowman. It’s a perfect activity for the winter season!
