Students will practice finding the area of a regular polygon given the apothem, a side length, or the radius with this coloring activity. Students solve the 12 problems, then match their answers on the back in order to color the flip-flops.
Students will need to know the sum of the interior angles of a polygon, special right triangles (45°-45°-90° and 30°-60°-90°) and trigonometry. All answers are rounded to the nearest tenth. This activity was created for a high school level geometry class.
