Students will practice solving sequences and series problems through these 36 task cards. The cards are organized as follows:
• Cards 1-6: Arithmetic Sequences
• Cards 7-12: Arithmetic Series
• Cards 13-28: Geometric Sequences
• Cards 19-24: Geometric Series (includes infinite convergent and divergent series)
• Cards 25-36: Mixed Arithmetic/Geometric Sequences and Series (students must determine which then solve).
Applications are integrated throughout each section.
A recording worksheet is included for students to show work. They can check their answers by scanning the QR code on each card. Connection to the internet is not required to scan the code. However, a QR scanner app is required on the device. There are several free apps available to download. I included a non-QR code version as well if the technology is not available in your classroom.
