Students will practice solving non-linear systems of equations (linear/quadratic and quadratic/quadratic) with these 16 task cards. This activity includes lines and parabolas only, no other conic sections. Some cards instruct students to solve by graphing while others instruct them to solve algebraically by substitution or elimination. A recording worksheet is included to show work.
Students can check their answers by scanning the QR code on each card. Connection to the internet is not required to scan the code, however, a QR scanner app is required on the device. There are several free apps available to download. Cards without QR codes also included should you wish not to use them.
