This one-step equations activity is a fun, low-prep way for middle school math students to practice solving one-step equations, including operations with negative integers. How It Works:
Students rotate through 10 stations, and the answer at each station reveals a piece of a story (who, doing what, with whom, where, when, etc.). It’s a much more fun approach to multiple choice, and students love reading their finished stories to the class, especially when they find out which of their teachers is the “star” of the story!
