Students will practice solving one-step equations (this includes operations with negative integers) as they rotate through 10 stations with this “Math Lib” Activity. The answer at each station will give them a piece to a holiday-themed story (who, doing what, with who, where, when, etc.).
This is a much more fun approach to multiple choice, and the students adore reading the story to the class. They get very excited to see which of their teachers is the “star” of the story. You will be able to edit the teacher names on the first slide!
