Activity Directions:

I pair the students up and have them choose to be X or O. I give out one board per pair and have them take out their own piece of paper as well. They each choose one problem to solve on their paper. They look for their answer on the board, graph it, write their answer in interval notation, and put an X or O in the corner. Then, they choose two new problems and so on. They win if they get 4 in a row, column, or diagonal. So it’s kind of a mix between Tic-Tac-Toe and Connect 4.

My students enjoyed this one! It definitely kept them engaged.

A creative, engaging way to practice inequalities. My students loved that they could "play" and learn at the same time. Thank you!!

This activity worked better than I planned! Students were helping each other to fix their mistakes. Some were even racing to get as many X's or O's as possible. Great activity!
