Students will practice solving ( and translating) one-step equations with this Koosh Ball review game. This includes positive and negative integers. The 1,000-point problems (yellow slides) require students translate and solve an equation. There are 45 problems in this game!

Students use a Koosh ball to aim for the circles on the board. Once a circle is hit, a problem will appear. Simply click “answer” for students to check. When you click “Back”, the circle will disappear so there are no repeats. Because this game was made with PowerPoint, it can be used with any interactive whiteboard. A student worksheet to record work is included.

PowerPoint is required for this game! It will not work with Google Slides or any other program. The game can be played with a Smart Board (or other interactive whiteboard) in which students can aim for a circle with a Koosh ball. Or, you can play the game with a projector and just have students come up to the computer to click on a problem.

Great game! I can only use it with 7th grade as the standards with integers changed (no negative multiply/divide), but my 7th graders loved the review. Will have to purchase the awesome template to make one for my 6th graders.

This was awesome! Students who don't normally enjoy participating loved getting the chance to throw the koosh ball at the smart board. Great practice and kept student engagement high!

—JODIE R.

I used this on the first day of school for my Algebra classes as a fun and interactive review! The students loved playing it so much that they asked to play it throughout the year! I don't have an interactive white board so I use suction cup balls that students throw at the board as I click on the question they hit. It works great! :-) Thank you!
