Students will practice finding the area of circles given the radius or diameter as they rotate through 10 stations with this “Math Lib” Activity. The answer at each station will give them a piece to a story (who, doing what, with who, where, when, etc.). This is a much more fun approach to multiple choice, and the students adore reading the story to the class. They get very excited to see which of their teachers is the “star” of the story.
Note: There are TWO versions included! One in which the calculations are done using the pi button on the calculator, and the other in which calculations are done using 3.14. Use the one that best fits the needs of your students 🙂

All slides are given in an editable format so you are free to personalize the story for your students. PowerPoint is required to edit. Only story elements can be changed, not the actual problems.
