This angles of triangles activity is a fun, low-prep way for Geometry students to practice using the Triangle Angle Sum Theorem and Exterior Angle Theorem to find angle measures in triangles. Some problems require knowledge of isosceles and equilateral triangles, and angle measures given as algebraic expressions and verbal problems are included. This activity was designed for a high school Geometry class.
How It Works:
Students rotate through 10 stations, and the answer at each station reveals a piece of a story (who, doing what, with whom, where, when, etc.). It’s a much more fun approach to multiple choice, and students love reading their finished stories to the class, especially when they find out which of their teachers is the “star” of the story!
Edit all story elements!
All slides are given in an editable format so you are free to personalize the story for your students. PowerPoint is required to edit. Only story elements can be changed, not the actual problems.
