This is the digital version of my Area and Perimeter of Composite Figures (NO CIRCLES) Cut & Paste Puzzle, designed for use in Google Slides™. This composite figures digital activity is an engaging, no-prep way for students to practice finding the area and perimeter of composite figures.
All figures can be divided into squares, rectangles, parallelograms, triangles, and trapezoids, so no circles are included. This makes it a great fit for students who are working with area formulas for polygons before moving on to circles.
How It Works:
Students find the area and perimeter of each composite figure, then drag the puzzle pieces onto the template so the edges meet with their corresponding answers. If an answer cannot be found, it is an edge piece. When they’re finished, students can share the completed activity back with you for review. An answer key is included.
What You’ll Receive:
Once purchased, you will receive a PDF document with a link and directions for adding the activity to your Google Drive™. You and your students will need a free Google account to access the activity. Once it’s added to your Drive, you can make copies and share the activity with your students.
Please note: Digital Google Slides™ activities are sold separately from the curriculum bundles. The printable PDF version of this activity is included in the corresponding curriculum/activity bundle, or you can purchase the printable Area and Perimeter of Composite Figures (NO CIRCLES) Cut & Paste Puzzle on its own.
