This is the digital version of my Pre-Algebra End of Year Review Escape Room Activity, designed for use in Google Slides™. This pre-algebra review escape room is an engaging, no-prep way for students to review concepts taught throughout the year in Pre-Algebra.
The 8 challenges cover solving equations (two-step and multi-step), solving inequalities, proportions (word problems, scale models, and similar figures), percents (discount, markup, tax, percent change, and simple interest), graphing linear equations, the Pythagorean Theorem and its applications, volume and surface area of prisms, pyramids, cylinders, and cones, and compound probability (independent and dependent events). The challenges are independent of each other, so you can remove some to save time or differentiate.
How It Works:
Each challenge puzzle reveals a 3-digit, 4-digit, 4-letter, or 5-letter code. Students work through the problems right in Google Slides™, enter their codes, and move on to the next challenge until they’ve cracked them all. When they’re finished, students can share the completed activity back with you for review. An answer key is included.
What You’ll Receive:
Once purchased, you will receive a PDF document with a link and directions for adding the activity to your Google Drive™. You and your students will need a free Google account to access the activity. Once it’s added to your Drive, you can make copies and share the activity with your students. Also included are an optional Google Form™ that students can use to check their codes on their own and a video that explains how to complete each challenge.
Please note: Digital Google Slides™ activities are sold separately from the curriculum bundles. The printable PDF version of this activity is included in the corresponding curriculum/activity bundle, or you can purchase the printable Pre-Algebra End of Year Review Escape Room Activity on its own.
