This is the digital version of my Adding and Subtracting Linear Expressions Pyramid Sum Puzzle, designed for use in Google Slides™. This linear expressions digital activity is an engaging, no-prep way for students to practice adding and subtracting linear expressions.
Students simplify each sum or difference of linear expressions, which gives them plenty of practice combining like terms and distributing the negative when subtracting.
How It Works:
Students find each sum or difference, type in their answers, then drag the puzzle pieces onto the template so that each expression equals the sum of the two expressions directly above it. When they’re finished, students can share the completed activity back with you for review. The box letters help students stay organized and make grading easier! An answer key is included.
What You’ll Receive:
Once purchased, you will receive a PDF document with a link and directions for adding the activity to your Google Drive™. You and your students will need a free Google account to access the activity. Once it’s added to your Drive, you can make copies and share the activity with your students.
Please note: Digital Google Slides™ activities are sold separately from the curriculum bundles. The printable PDF version of this activity is included in the corresponding curriculum/activity bundle, or you can purchase the printable Adding and Subtracting Linear Expressions Pyramid Sum Puzzle on its own.
