This Mid-Year Study Guide and Assessment accompanies the first four units of my Math 6 Curriculum. The assessment is 100% multiple choice.
Two versions of both the study guide and assessment are included:
Version 1: Operations with positive integers only
Version 2: Operations with positive and negative integers
This allows you to choose the version that best fits your curriculum and whether or not you teach operations with negative integers in sixth grade.

Both versions of the study guide contain 100+ problems. Version 1 of the assessment contains 50 multiple-choice questions, while Version 2 contains 60 multiple-choice questions.
Suggestions:
- Assign sections of the study guide over the course of a couple of weeks to help students review gradually.
- If you feel the assessment is too lengthy for your students, consider allowing them to omit any 10 questions.
Also Included:
A Google Forms version of the Math 6 Mid-Year Assessment is included for easy digital assessment.
An editable version of both assessments is also included, making it easy to create multiple versions or customize the assessment to fit your needs. PowerPoint and Equation Editor (typically built into PowerPoint) are required to edit the files. If your Equation Editor is incompatible with mine, simply delete the existing equation and insert your own.
