Students will practice translating and solving two-step equations with this Scavenger Hunt activity.
This scavenger hunt includes 12 problems and a student recording worksheet. Hang the problems around the room (or in the hallway) and distribute the recording worksheet to each student. Clipboards work very well for this type of activity! Place your students in groups of 2-3 and assign each group a place to start. They solve the problem at the station, then use their answer to lead them to the next problem. They should finish the Scavenger Hunt at the same problem they started with.
NOTE: This resource also includes a version in which students can scan a QR code to reveal the problem at each station. This is optional. Choose the version of the activity that works best for your students!
