Students will practice applying their knowledge of quadratic equations to solve projectile motion problems with this Scavenger Hunt activity. This includes finding the maximum height of an object, an objects height at a given time, and the time it will take the object to reach the group or other destination.
This scavenger hunt includes 10 problems and a student recording worksheet. Hang the problems around the room (or in the hallway) and distribute the recording worksheet to each student. Clipboards work very well for this type of activity! Place your students in groups of 2-3 and assign each group a place to start. They solve the problem at the station, then use their answer to lead them to the next problem. They should finish the Scavenger Hunt at the same problem they started with.
