This prime factorization cross number puzzle helps students practice finding the prime factorization of numbers up to 550. There are 30 problems.
How It Works:
This activity works like a crossword puzzle, but students fill in numbers instead of letters. Students solve each Across and Down problem and record their answers in the puzzle. The puzzle is self-checking, because answers that don’t fit help students spot and correct mistakes. Students can complete it independently, but because of the number of problems, working in pairs or small groups is recommended, with one partner completing the Across problems and the other completing the Down problems.
