My students typically complete this task while I am taking attendance and returning homework. We go over the answers once they are finished. It’s a daily routine that takes roughly 10 minutes. I have found it to be incredibly beneficial for my students. They are in Cornell Note form with topic on left side, and sample problems on the right. Having them already made will be a HUGE time saver!

License Terms:

This purchase includes a single non-transferable license, meaning it is for one teacher only for personal use in their classroom and can not be passed from one teacher to another.  No part of this resource is to be shared with colleagues or used by an entire grade level, school, or district without purchasing the proper number of licenses.  A transferable license is not available for this resource.

Copyright Terms:

No part of this resource may be uploaded to the internet in any form, including classroom/personal websites or network drives, unless the site is password protected and can only be accessed by students.

What standards is this curriculum aligned to?
Because the standards in each state can differ, it is impossible to create a one-size fits all curriculum. Download a complete list of topics included in this curriculum to compare to your own curriculum and standards.

What format are the files in?
All Warm-ups are in a PDF format; however, they are also included with each individual warm-up "snipped" into the Smart Notebook software.  This is a bonus for those that have a Smart Board.  If you do not have a Smart Board, disregard those files and use the PDF instead as they are the same.

Will I have access to materials if they are updated?
Yes! If any changes are made to the materials, simply login and redownload from your purchases.

Are answer keys included?
Yes!

I love using these warm-ups as graded homework checks. We call them 'Fast Fives' which could mean five problems and/or five minutes to complete. I like that they help students see the types of problems to expect on upcoming quizzes or tests. Overtime, I have changed my approach and now allow students to use notes and their classmates to help them do these.

Excellent resource! This has been a great warmup for my Algebra students. I love that the practice problems are labeled and grouped by type. I can easily go to the type of problems I need.

These warm-ups are one of my favourite resources! I have used them for beginning of class bellwork, for extra practice when a student finishes an assignment, and I've also used them for end-of-unit review or prep for the final exam. The students enjoy them and find that they are a great way to study for tests.
