Students will practice solving problems with parallel lines cut by a transversal using their knowledge of corresponding angles, alternate exterior angles, alternate interior angles, consecutive interior angles, vertical angles, and linear pairs with this “Fly-Swatter” PowerPoint Bingo Game. All problems require solving a multi-step equation. These problems were written for a high school level geometry class. There are 25 total problems included in this game.
The flies really do fly in this animated game, which the students LOVE! Once a fly is selected, a problem will appear. All students write down and solve the problem on the recording sheet (included with game). Then, they look up their answer on their bingo sheet. Also included are 30 individualized bingo boards.
PowerPoint is required for this game! It will not work with Google Slides or any other program. The game can be played with a Smart Board (or other interactive whiteboard) in which students can aim for a fly with a Koosh ball. Or, you can play the game with a projector and just have students come up to the computer to click on a fly.
