Students will practice using the properties of centers of triangles (circumcenter, incenter, and centroid) to find side lengths and angle measures with this “Pumpkin Smash” PowerPoint Bingo Game. There are 30 total problems included in this game. Orthocenter is not included in this game. The Pythagorean Theorem is required for several problems.
Once a pumpkin is selected, a problem will appear. Students write down and solve the problem on the recording sheet. Then, they look up their answer on their bingo sheet. They can check their answer by clicking on the “Answer” button. The pumpkins will “smash” and deactivate once you hit them so it can’t be hit again.
The game, student worksheet, 30 individualized boards, game directions, and answer key are included.
PowerPoint is required for this game! It will not work with Google Slides or any other program. The game can be played with a Smart Board (or other interactive whiteboard) in which students can aim for a pumpkin with a Koosh ball. Or, you can play the game with a projector and just have students come up to the computer to click on a pumpkin.
