Students will review concepts from the circles unit in Geometry with this Koosh Ball review game. This includes central angles, inscribed angles, arc measures, arc lengths, tangent lengths, angles created by intersecting chords, secants and tangents, and segment lengths of intersecting chords, secants, and tangents. This game was created for a high school level geometry class. Knowledge of the Pythagorean Theorem, factoring, and solving multi-step and quadratic equations is required on some problems. There are 50 problems in this game!
Students use a Koosh ball to aim for the circles on the board. Once a circle is hit, a problem will appear. Simply click “answer” for students to check. When you click “Back”, the circle will disappear so there are no repeats. Because this game was made with PowerPoint, it can be used with any interactive whiteboard. A student worksheet to record work is included.
PowerPoint is required for this game! It will not work with Google Slides or any other program. The game can be played with a Smart Board (or other interactive whiteboard) in which students can aim for a circle with a Koosh ball. Or, you can play the game with a projector and just have students come up to the computer to click on a problem.
