Students will practice solving multi-step equations that require distributing and combining like terms with this Koosh Ball review game. This game includes equations with variables on one side only! I start with this concept, practice with this game, then move to variables on both sides the next lesson and use this scavenger hunt for that concept. There are 45 problems in this game!
Students use a Koosh ball to aim for the circles on the board. Once a circle is hit, a problem will appear. Simply click “answer” for students to check. When you click “Back”, the circle will disappear so there are no repeats. Because this game was made with PowerPoint, it can be used with any interactive whiteboard. A student worksheet to record work is included.
PowerPoint is required for this game! It will not work with Google Slides or any other program. The game can be played with a Smart Board (or other interactive whiteboard) in which students can aim for a circle with a Koosh ball. Or, you can play the game with a projector and just have students come up to the computer to click on a problem.
