Students will practice identifying the common ratio of a geometric sequence, writing a formula to model a geometric sequence, and using a formula to find a specific value within an geometric sequence by working through these 12 task cards. Real world models are included.
A recording worksheet is included for students to record their answers. They can check their answers by scanning the QR code on each card. Connection to the internet is not required to scan the code. However, a QR scanner app is required on the device. There are several free apps available to download.
If you haven’t used QR codes in your classroom yet, I highly recommend them! Students love using the technology, and the self-checking makes it easier on the teacher!
