Students will practice identifying coterminal angles with this “Triples Activity”. Given a set of 30 cards, students look for sets of three cards that represent coterminal angles. Both positive and negative angles included.
This activity includes three versions!
Version 1: Degrees Only
Version 2: Radians Only
Version 3: Mixed Degrees & Radians
The versions are unique so all three versions can be used with no repetition.
Students can work on their own or with a partner to match the cards. Once they are finished, I have my students staple their “triples” together and place in a zip-lock bag. An answer key is included for each version to ensure the correct cards are matched together.
