Students will practice solving problems with the Angle Addition Postulate with this Scavenger Hunt activity. This includes finding angle measures with Angle Addition Postulate as well as straight angles, right angles, and vertical angles. Problems range in difficulty. Students must be able to solve multi-step equations. This activity was created for a high school level geometry class.
This scavenger hunt includes 20 problems and a student recording worksheet. Hang the problems around the room (or in the hallway) and distribute the recording worksheet to each student. Clipboards work very well for this type of activity! Place your students in groups of 2-3 and assign each group a place to start. They solve the problem at the station, then use their answer to lead them to the next problem. They should finish the Scavenger Hunt at the same problem they started with.
