This free standard form of linear equations cut and paste activity provides students with a worksheet of 12 graphs and a page of linear equations written in standard form. Students determine the slope and y-intercept of each graph, then find the standard form equation that is equivalent to their slope-intercept equation. The last graph is a vertical line for an extra challenge.
How It Works:
Each graph has four possible equations, but only one is correct, so students have to check their work carefully before they paste. Students paste the correct equation onto the graphs worksheet. Printing the graphs on colored paper and the equations on white paper makes the finished product pop.
