This is the digital version of my Circles Review Escape Room Activity, designed for use in Google Slides™. This circles review escape room is an engaging, no-prep way for Geometry students to review the concepts taught throughout the circles unit.
The 6 challenges cover naming parts of circles (center, radius, diameter, chord, secant, tangent, central angle, inscribed angle, major arc, and minor arc), central and inscribed angles and their arc measures, area, circumference, and arc lengths, arc and angle measures formed by intersecting chords, secants, and tangents, special segment lengths, and equations of circles. The challenges are independent of each other, so you can remove some to save time or use them as you finish each section. If using all six challenges, plan for two class periods or a full block.
How It Works:
Each challenge puzzle reveals a 3-digit, 4-digit, 4-letter, or 5-letter code. Students work through the problems right in Google Slides™, enter their codes, and move on to the next challenge until they’ve cracked them all. When they’re finished, students can share the completed activity back with you for review. An answer key is included.
What You’ll Receive:
Once purchased, you will receive a PDF document with a link and directions for adding the activity to your Google Drive™. You and your students will need a free Google account to access the activity. Once it’s added to your Drive, you can make copies and share the activity with your students. Also included are an optional Google Form™ that students can use to check their codes on their own and a video that explains how to complete each challenge.
